Can we have a campfire?

Absolutely, this is one of the things that we love about camping. Every tent has its own fire pit, to cook on, warm yourselves with or just watch as the sun goes down.

Do we have to bring our own logs?

No, each tent is provided with a complimentary basket of logs, eco-firelighters & kindling. Should you need more logs, you can buy them at the farm at £4 a bag or 3 bags for £10. Firelighters and kindling are £1 a bundle.

Is there electricity available on site?

No, we are completely off grid. There is a hot, gas powered shower, individual campfires/bbq areas and a shepherds hut communal kitchen/washing up area with a gas hob. There is no mains gas, electricity or water.

Where do we leave the car?

As the campsite is in our woodland access is on foot only. Cars must be left in the designated car park at the farm yard.

Where are the toilets and showers located?

Even though there is no mains electricity, gas or water at the glamping field, the toilets and shower are on site in the shepherds hut within a stone’s throw of your bell tent.

Do you allow dogs?

Sorry, we do not allow dogs on the site.

Do you allow Hen/Stag parties?

We are able to accommodate hen and stag parties, please get in touch for further details.

Do you allow group bookings?

Yes, we do allow groups to book the entire site. Please call or email to discuss the options available to you.

Are your tents waterproof?

Yes. All of our tents are waterproof and come with fully sewn in groundsheet and treated canvas.

Are your tents warm?

All of our furnished tents are designed to make you have the most comfortable night possible with thick duvets, extra blankets and throws and coverings on the ground however its recommended [ depending on what time of year you are hiring a tent] that you bring warm layers to sleep in as well just in case.

You need to bring:

  • Towels.
  • A torch.
  • Suitable footwear (wellies if wet) for wandering in the wood and fields.
  • A sense of adventure.
