Airports
There are daily flights to both Aberdeen and Inverness airports, domestic and International flights. Both airports are within an hours drive of our farm.
Aberdeen Airport
Domestic flights from/to Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Humberside, Kirkwall, London City, London Heathrow, London Luton, London Southend, Manchester, Newcastle, Newquay, Norwich, Southampton, Stornoway and Wick.
From Aberdeen Airport take the A96 towards Inverurie/Inverness. Continue on the A96 to Huntly. At the Huntly roundabout go straight over and take the second turn on your right to Portsoy on the B9022. Continue on the B9022 for approx. 10 miles to Glenbarry T junction. Turn right on to the A95 and continue to the small hamlet of Ordiquhill then turn left onto the B9022. Continue for approx. 3 miles then left turn to Fordyce. Continue past first turning marked Fordyce, through wooded section then turn right towards Deskford. Follow road to top of the hill and you have arrived at Birkenhill.
Inverness Airport
Domestic flights from/to London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Kirkwall, Stornoway and Sumburgh.
Turn left at the roundabout onto the A96 towards Nairn/Forres/Elgin. Stay on the A96 through Elgin to Fochabers. Take the left turn onto A98 at the roundabout on the Fochabers bypass. Continue on A98 through Cullen. From Cullen heading towards Banff on the A98. Take the first right towards Lintmill and Keith. After Lintmill continue for approx. 1 mile and take left turn to Cornhill. Follow road round to the right over the bridge keeping right and continue up the hill to the T junction. Turn right then left up the hill past Ardiecow farm. We are the next farm on your left at the top of the hill.
Travelling By Train
The nearest train stations are Huntly and Keith stations. Daily train service from Aberdeen and Inverness directions.
From Huntly Train Station
Located off Bogie Street, Huntly, Aberdeenshire, AB54 5HS
From Huntly train station. Turn right onto Aberdeen Road. Turn right onto the A96 and continue to the roundabout (with Asda alongside). At the Huntly roundabout go straight over and take the second turn on your right to Portsoy on the B9022. Continue on the B9022 for approx. 10 miles to Glenbarry T junction. Turn right on to the A95 and continue to the small hamlet of Ordiquhill then turn left onto the B9022. Continue for approx. 3 miles then left turn towards Fordyce. Continue past the first turning on your right marked Fordyce, continue through the wooded section then turn right towards Deskford. Follow road to top of the hill and you have arrived at Birkenhill Farm.
From Keith Train Station
Turn right out of Keith Station onto Station Road, turn left over small bridge and continue (passing St Rufus Park on your left) to the T-junction, turn left onto the A96 . Take the next left turn onto A95 towards Banff. Continue on A95 to the small hamlet of Ordiquhill then turn left onto the B9022. Continue for approx. 3 miles then left turn to Fordyce. Continue past first turning on your right marked Fordyce, through the wooded section then turn right towards Deskford. Follow road to top of the hill and you have arrived at Birkenhill Farm.
Travelling By Car
From Aberdeen Direction

From Inverness/Nairn/Elgin Direction
Leaving Inverness take the A96 towards Nairn/Forres/Elgin. Stay on the A96 through Elgin to Fochabers. Take the left turn onto A98 at the roundabout on the Fochabers bypass. Continue on A98 through Cullen. From Cullen heading towards Banff on the A98. Take the first right towards Lintmill and Keith. After Lintmill continue for approx. 1 mile and take left turn to Cornhill. Follow road, keeping left over the bridge, keeping right and continue to the T junction at the top of the hill. Turn right then left up the hill past Ardiecow Farm. We are the next farm on your left at the top of the hill.
From Banff/Portsoy/Fraserburgh Direction
Leave Banff on A98 towards Portsoy. Just before Portsoy take the first left onto the B9022. Continue for approx 3 miles taking the third turning on your right towards Fordyce (At the group of houses in a semi-circle). Continue past first turning marked Fordyce, pass through wooded section then turn right towards Deskford. Follow road to top of the hill and you have arrived at Birkenhill Farm on your right.
From Portsoy
Leave Portsoy heading towards Banff on the A98. First right on the B9022. Continue for approx 3 miles, take the third turning on your right towards Fordyce (At the group of houses in a semi-circle). Continue past first turning marked Fordyce, pass through wooded section then turn right towards Deskford. Follow road to top of the hill and you have arrived at Birkenhill Farm on your right.
